By downloading, installing, or using Signal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Signal is a trading simulator designed for educational and entertainment purposes. The App allows users to practice trading stocks, cryptocurrencies, commodities, and futures using virtual currency in a simulated environment. Signal does not provide real brokerage services, financial advice, or access to real financial markets.
3. Virtual Currency
All currency used within Signal ("vUSD" or "virtual USD") is entirely fictional and has no real-world monetary value. vUSD:
- Cannot be exchanged for real money or assets
- Cannot be transferred outside of the App
- Has no cash value and is not redeemable
- May be purchased as in-app items for the purpose of enhancing your simulation experience only
Any in-app purchases of virtual currency are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
4. Not Financial Advice
Nothing in Signal constitutes financial, investment, trading, or any other type of professional advice. The App is for educational and entertainment purposes only. Past performance within the simulation does not guarantee or predict real-world trading results. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making real investment decisions.
5. User Accounts
Signal uses anonymous authentication. You are not required to provide personal information to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and access to your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to manipulate leaderboard rankings through fraudulent means
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
- Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the App
- Interfere with the security or integrity of the App or its servers
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Signal — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Signal and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
8. Third-Party Services
Signal integrates with third-party services including price data providers, analytics platforms, and payment processors. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIGNAL AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
