Signal uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication. You are not required to provide your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information to use the App. We do collect the following data:
- Anonymous user ID: A unique identifier generated by Firebase Authentication when you first open the App.
- Nickname: An optional display name you choose during onboarding (stored in Firestore).
- Simulated trading data: Your virtual balance, trade history, portfolio positions, and leaderboard ranking (stored in Firestore).
- FCM token: A device token for push notifications, collected only if you grant notification permission.
- App usage data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics to help improve the App.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and maintain the App and your simulated trading account
- Display your ranking on the leaderboard
- Send push notifications about trade activity and market alerts (only if you opt in)
- Improve the App's features, performance, and content
- Process in-app purchases and subscriptions
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
Signal integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing data use:

7. Children's Privacy
Signal is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

We use Firebase security rules and industry-standard practices to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
